Other State Provisions & Exemptions

• Louisiana sets a 50,000-lb weight limit on four-axle trucks, which it refers to as quadrums.
• On non-Interstate highways, there is 2,000-lb tolerance for single axles and 3,000-lb tolerance for tandem, tridem, and quadrum axles.
• The per-wheel weight limit is 650 lbs per inch of the width of the tire.
