  • New Jersey allows for a 5% weight tolerance for axles and gross weights as long as the combination doesn’t exceed 80,000 lbs GVW.
  • Vehicles with idle reduction technology are permitted axle, vehicle, or bridge formula weights of up to 400 lbs over the limit.
