Other State Provisions & Exemptions
  • Vermont allows for a 10% tolerance for single and tandem axle weight limits on non-Interstate highways.
  • Weight should not exceed 600 lbs per inch of tire width.
  • Vehicles with idle reduction technology are permitted axle, vehicle, or bridge formula weights of up to 400 lbs over the limit.
